Build your own plastic trail toboggan and runnered sled, and make your own hand-stitched leather and canvas mukluks during this lodge-based course. We provide the materials and tools.

Spend the days in the workshop working on the projects. At the end of the day, head upstairs to the modern lodge to relax, or head into the woods or into town to explore.

Designed to be a relaxed working environment, our lodge-based programs are focused around getting the projects done.

Group size is limited to 4 people. Included with the course is lodging (Sunday – Friday) in our lodge, the Rust Pond Retreat. Food is not included, but the lodge is outfitted with a full modern kitchen.

Arrival and Departure:   Plan to arrive Sunday evening, between 4 and 6. The course is over on Friday at 4 PM.

Tobacco:   Smoking is not permitted in or near any buildings. All cigarette butts are to be placed into the metal can provided.

Vehicles and Parking:  We’re located 1.2 miles down a dirt road. Depending on your vehicle you may need to park at the top of the hill, a 75 yard walk.
